Company Background- Diamond Building Concept started as “Diamond Decors” in the year 2006, from which we have rapidly emerged as an interior turnkey company. Started with general contracting in Chennai in the arena of commercial & residential projects. Further evolved to handle the growing responsibilities of full fit-out Interiors & Design, leading to the emergence of Diamond Building Concept. We are looking to expand our established team and are searching for candidates who can bring their specific skillset to help drive our growth to the next level. We are seeking someone to join our team as a Quantity Surveyor.

Roles and Responsibilities-

You will manage and prepare cost estimates, create Bills of Quantities (BOQs), handle material pricing, evaluate subcontractor bids, and control budgets from the design phase to project handover.

Which is divided into three distinct phases:

Planing & Tendering-

● Cost estimation: To prepare & calculate initial project budgets using architectural drawings and sketches(Includes Material & Labour cost estimates).

● BOQ Preparation: Creates the Bill of Quantities, detailing precise amounts of materials, labor,



and equipment needed with the help of the drawings and physical measurement.

● Tender Management: Prepares & organises contractors, and evaluates incoming Quote proposals to designate the role to be performed by the contractors.

Execution & Monitoring-

● Site Measurement: Measures ongoing physical work in office(along with site Supervisor) to verify it matches with the drawing specifications & advice the same.

● Interim Valuation: Reviews and certifies monthly running bills submitted by subcontractors before releasing payments.

● Variation Tracking: Calculates cost changes caused by architectural modifications or unexpected design updates on-site.

● Cost Reporting: Prepares monthly budget versus actual expense reports to flag financial overruns early.

Handover Phase-

● Final Accounts: Evaluates all variations and claims to settle the ultimate, absolute closing invoice of the project.

● Dispute Settlement: Uses contract clauses to resolve financial arguments or claims between developers and builders.

Pay: From ₹12,000.00 per month
