ASP.NET Developer – Web Forms / C# / SQL Server

Job Summary

Acharya Associates is looking for an experienced and motivated ASP.NET web forms Developer for our Thiruvananthapuram office on 2 years contract term.

The developer will work on the development, testing, maintenance and improvement of the company's existing and new web-based accounting, financial and business-management applications used in our Canadian/North American operations.

Practical experience with ASP.NET Web Forms is mandatory.

Qualification & Experience

- B.Tech/B.E./BCA/MCA/B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science, IT or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant software-development experience preferred
- Hands-on ASP.NET Web Forms experience is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of C# and SQL Server
- Good written and spoken English
- Robust logical thinking and problem-solving ability

Required Technical Skills

- Debugging and troubleshooting

Knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, Web API and modern .NET technologies will be an advantage.

AI-Assisted Development – Claude

The developer must be able and willing to use Claude effectively as part of ASP.NET development, including:

- Understanding existing ASP.NET Web Forms code
- Developing and improving C#/ASP.NET code
- Debugging and troubleshooting
- Developing SQL queries and stored procedures
- Reviewing and improving existing code
- Developing new pages and features
- Testing and technical documentation

The developer must be able to understand, review and properly test AI-assisted code before implementation.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain ASP.NET Web Forms/C# applications
- Understand existing company applications, source code and databases
- Develop new pages, modules, reports and features
- Modify and improve existing applications
- Develop and maintain SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures




- Debug application and database problems
- Thoroughly test development before implementation
- Identify and correct bugs, performance and security issues
- Use Claude and other approved AI development tools to improve productivity
- Deploy and maintain applications on IIS
- Maintain source code using Git or other company-approved systems
- Maintain technical documentation and SOPs
- Research and recommend technical solutions
- Provide regular work-progress reports to management

Daily, Weekly & Monthly Goals

Acharya Associates follows a goal-oriented work system.

The developer will be assigned Daily, Weekly and Monthly Goals and will be responsible for completing development, testing, and implementation within agreed timelines.

Performance will be evaluated based on quality, accuracy, productivity, timely completion, testing, problem-solving, effective use of AI development tools, reliability and achievement of assigned goals.

Salary & Incentives

₹17,500 – ₹35,000 per month

Starting salary will depend on the candidate's experience, ASP.NET Web Forms knowledge, programming skills and overall suitability.

In addition to salary, weekly and monthly performance incentives are available for successful completion of assigned goals as per company policy.

One-Month Paid Mutual Evaluation Period

The first one month will be a paid evaluation period, allowing both Acharya Associates and the candidate to evaluate each other.

The company will evaluate the candidate's technical skills, productivity, quality of work, reliability and suitability for the position.

At the same time, the candidate will have the opportunity to understand the company's work, systems, expectations,



management and working environment and decide whether the company and position are suitable for them.

There is no automatic two-year commitment simply by joining the evaluation period.

At the end of the one-month evaluation, if Acharya Associates finds the candidate suitable and the candidate also finds the company and position suitable, the candidate will be offered a 2-year Employment Contract.

The contract will therefore be entered into only when both parties mutually agree to continue the employment relationship after the evaluation period.

Work Schedule

2:00 PM to 11:00 PM

The schedule provides working-hour overlap with the company's Canadian operations.

Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), Kerala

In-office position – Work from home is not available.
