About the Role

This is not a traditional Business Analyst, Scrum Product Owner, or people-management Product Manager role.

We are looking for someone who can take an ambiguous business problem and independently turn it into a well-thought-out product solution.

You may start with something as simple as:

- "Vendors need to manage their products."

Your job is to figure out what that actually means.

You should be able to research how established marketplaces and commerce platforms solve the problem, understand the underlying business model, identify the right product concepts and workflows, uncover missing requirements and edge cases, evaluate alternatives, and recommend the approach that makes sense for Stellaris.

You will work directly with the architect, developers and management and will have significant ownership of product decisions.

What You'll Do

- Analyze business problems and turn them into practical product solutions.
- Apply proven patterns from marketplaces, e-commerce, SaaS, booking, directories and other digital commerce platforms.
- Design product workflows, user journeys, business rules, states and behaviors.
- Identify edge cases, operational implications, dependencies and hidden requirements.
- Challenge assumptions and recommend better or simpler approaches.
- Define features clearly enough for engineering to build them without repeatedly rediscovering the requirements.
- Work closely with engineering during implementation and validate that the delivered solution solves the intended problem.
- Consider the impact of product decisions on customers, vendors, marketplace operations and the platform itself.
- Continuously research competitors, industry practices and emerging patterns to improve product decisions.
- Use AI extensively for research, analysis, alternative-solution exploration, edge-case discovery and documentation while critically validating its output.

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of experience in product, product analysis, product ownership, business analysis with strong product ownership, solution consulting, or a similar role.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrated ability to take vague or incomplete requirements and independently develop a product solution.
- Strong understanding of business workflows, user experience and product behavior.




- Practical knowledge of marketplace, e-commerce, SaaS, booking, directory or other digital commerce models.
- Ability to research unfamiliar problems and understand how established products solve them.
- Comfortable discussing APIs, data, permissions, integrations and system behavior with engineers.
- Excellent communication and written English.
- Comfortable working independently in a small team.
- Strong interest in using AI as a core productivity and reasoning tool.

This Role Is Not for You If...

- You primarily gather and document requirements provided by others.
- Your main product experience is managing Jira, backlogs or Scrum ceremonies.
- You expect business stakeholders or engineers to define the solution for you.
- You are uncomfortable making recommendations when requirements are ambiguous.
- You rarely challenge assumptions or investigate what may have been missed.
- You use AI mainly to generate documentation rather than improve your analysis.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
