Job Description

Ganga Kotecha Group is looking for an experienced Finishing Engineer to oversee and manage finishing activities across our residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in high-quality finishing works, contractor management, quality control, and timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage all finishing activities at project sites.
- Plan and monitor works including plastering, putty, painting, flooring, tiling, marble, doors & windows, sanitary fittings, false ceiling, carpentry, and external development.
- Ensure finishing work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, site engineers, and project managers.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance and ensure timely completion.
- Check material quality and ensure proper utilization at site.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and identify defects or deviations.
- Prepare and close snag/punch lists before handover.
- Monitor daily progress and ensure work is completed according to project schedules.
- Resolve site-level technical and execution issues.




- Coordinate apartment inspections, finishing corrections, and handover activities.
- Maintain daily progress reports, quality checklists, and site documentation.
- Ensure proper safety practices are followed during finishing activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in finishing and construction.
- Strong experience in residential building / villa / apartment projects.
- Good knowledge of finishing materials, construction methods, and quality standards.
- Strong contractor and manpower management skills.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and finishing drawings.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to manage multiple finishing activities and meet project deadlines.
