RPA & Appian QA Tester

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced RPA & Appian QA Tester with 4+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, Appian/BPM workflow testing, and RPA/UiPath testing.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and UAT testing, along with strong knowledge of SQL, APIs, web services, workflow validation, and defect management.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform QA testing for Appian BPM/workflow applications and RPA solutions.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, E2E, and UAT testing.
- Validate Appian workflows, business rules, forms, approvals, notifications, and integrations.
- Test RPA bots, including bot execution, exception handling, workflows, queues, and business process automation.
- Validate integrations with APIs, web services, databases, and third-party applications.
- Perform SQL/data validation to verify backend data and business transactions.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects through resolution.
- Prepare test execution reports, defect reports, test evidence, and QA documentation.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, RPA developers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders.
- Support UAT and production-readiness activities.

Required Skills

- 4+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA
- Hands-on experience with Appian / BPM workflow testing




- Hands-on experience with UiPath or other RPA platforms
- Strong knowledge of:
- Functional Testing
- Integration Testing
- Regression Testing
- End-to-End Testing
- UAT
- Workflow Testing
- Positive knowledge of SQL and database validation
- Experience with REST APIs / Web Services
- Experience testing system and third-party integrations
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, MTM, or similar defect/test management tools
- Good understanding of SDLC and QA processes
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills

- Appian certification
- UiPath certification
- ISTQB certification
- Experience in Insurance, Banking, Healthcare, or other regulated industries

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
