We're now designing the Rancho Labs Makerspace — a space built for children to explore technology, engineering, robotics, creativity and hands-on making. Not another classroom, but a place that makes a child walk in and think: "I want to build something here."About the Chance We're looking for a highly creative Interior Design Intern to take ownership of designing this Makerspace, from concept to execution — working closely with the founder and team on layout, interiors, furniture, workstations, storage, display areas, branding and overall experience. This is a real-world project: your ideas become part of a physical space used by hundreds of children. We want someone who goes beyond "looking good" to ask: how should the space make a child feel, encourage curiosity, make experimentation feel natural, and inspire the next generation of engineers and creators? What You'll Work OnOverall design concept and vision for the MakerspaceSpace planning and zoning for different activities and age groupsFunctional areas: robotics/electronics workstations, tinkering zones, fabrication areas, collaborative workspaces, display areas, storage, instructor areas, student interaction zones2D layouts,
