What awaits you/ Job Profile

- CAD construction of Ergonomics Seating buck using CATIA
- CAD concept/proposal generation
- Understanding of target setting for Visibility, Package, and Usability (FI) requirements.
- Aware of vehicle-level homologation requirements and ability to propose compliant design solutions.
- Understanding of occupant-related hardpoints and parameters as per SAE J1100 terminology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop occupant packaging targets.
- Generate vehicle-level target zones for exterior and interior packaging.
- Develop occupant posture models and define target zones.
- Assess CAS (Computer-Aided Styling) surfaces against packaging and ergonomic targets.
- Prepare Design Verification Plan (DVP) reports.
- Participate in design reviews and provide packaging recommendations during product development.

What should you bring along

- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with design and ergonomics.
- Very good English language skills

(German language is an advantage).

- Bachelor’s Engineering degree in Mech or related discipline.
- Minimum 2–6 years of professional experience in Automotive industry.
- Proactive,



teamwork-oriented mindset with the ability to operate in a matrix environment.

- Proficient user of CATIA V5 (design, package studies); Catia V6/3DExperience Skills are a plus
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Teams

Must have technical skill

- 2+ years of experience in vehicle top hat packaging/ergonomics/interiors design
- Experience with PLM and virtual tools such as Prisma Carisma, Teamcenter, Vismock.
- Proficiency with CAD and digital tools (e.g., CATIA V5/V6, 3Dx)
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute engineering or ergonomic projects independently and in teams.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn standards and simulation results into actionable recommendations.
- Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels and across regions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple customers and priorities while maintaining quality and on-time delivery.

Good to have Technical skills

- Experience working with BMW design studios or automotive Ergonomic teams, preferably in international collaborations.
- Knowledge of digitization workflows, data exchange formats, and version control in a design/engineering context.
- Exposure to design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) considerations.
- Ability to contribute to rapid ideation and iteration cycles while maintaining high-quality surface outputs.
