Role Description The Consultant Gynaecologist will provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care, including outpatient consultations, inpatient management, and emergency coverage for reproductive and maternal health. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and managing gynecologic conditions, performing gynecologic surgeries, and overseeing antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams,



supervising junior medical staff where applicable, and ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and patient safety standards. The Consultant Gynaecologist will also participate in clinical documentation, quality improvement initiatives, and patient education activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Himachal Pradesh, India.
Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Medicine with competency in general clinical assessment and management.
- Advanced expertise in Gynecology and Obstetrics, including reproductive health, antenatal care, labor management, and gynecologic disorders.
- Proficiency in Gynecologic Surgery and relevant Surgery skills for operative and minimally invasive procedures.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with MD/MS or equivalent specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology; valid medical registration in India.
- Demonstrated experience as a consultant or senior registrar in obstetrics and gynecology, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills, with a commitment to ethical, patient-centered care.
- Ability to manage emergency obstetric and gynecologic cases and work in a high-volume clinical workplace.
