Job Summary

A Firmware Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the low-level software that controls hardware devices. This role involves working closely with hardware teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement firmware for embedded systems and microcontrollers.
- Develop and maintain device drivers and low-level software components.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system requirements and specifications.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of firmware.
- Optimize firmware for performance, power consumption, and memory usage.
- Document firmware designs, code, and test procedures.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

Qualifications

- Skills: C/C++, Embedded Systems, Microcontrollers (e.g., ARM, PIC,



AVR), Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), Debugging Tools (e.g., JTAG, Oscilloscopes), Version Control (e.g., Git).
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Attributes: Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and in a team, good communication skills.
