About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Cisco Voice Professional Services Engineer with extensive hands-on expertise in Cisco Unified Communications and Enterprise Voice solutions. This role involves the implementation, integration, upgrading, and troubleshooting of Cisco voice environments, primarily for clients in the Banking and Financial Services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot complex Cisco Voice solutions.
- Administer Cisco CUCM, CUBE, Unity Connection, SIP gateways, and related components.
- Configure SIP trunks, dial plans, call routing, gateways, extensions, ACD, and IVR systems.
- Integrate Cisco voice environments with platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
- Troubleshoot issues related to SIP, RTP, VoIP, call signaling, codecs, and call quality.
- Perform Wireshark packet captures and analyze Cisco trace logs.
- Support migrations, upgrades, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), general testing, deployment, and go-live phases.
- Collaborate with customers and vendors during implementation and troubleshooting processes.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for intricate Cisco voice-related problems.
Required Skills
- 5–10 years of experience in Cisco Voice/Collaboration.
- Strong hands-on experience with CUCM, CUBE, Unity Connection, SIP Trunks, and Voice Gateways.
- Solid understanding of SIP, RTP, VoIP, ACD, IVR, dial plans, and call routing principles.
- Robust networking skills, including TCP/IP, VLANs, LAN/WAN, routing, and switching.
- Experience with Wireshark and packet analysis.
- Familiarity with Windows Server and basic SQL.
- Exposure to PowerShell/Shell scripting.
- Excellent customer-facing and consulting abilities.
Valuable to Have
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP Collaboration.
- Experience with NiCE/NTRX, Verint, Avaya, Microsoft Teams, AWS/Azure, or VMware.
