Role Summary

Automation and AI are rapidly evolving in the Credit Technology space, creating numerous opportunities to generate new business value. We are seeking individuals with strong skillsets in Pega RPA / DPA & PRPC, Alteryx, Java, QlikSense, AI, and other automation tools to support product deliveries. Familiarity with cloud engineering principles, particularly with public clouds like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services, is also expected. Strong technical skills and adherence to software craftsmanship principles are essential for delivering robust automation solutions. A high degree of curiosity and a proactive approach to learning new technologies are needed to support the modernization of existing automations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead technical design for case management solutions, ensuring guardrails compliance and promoting reuse.
- Design class structures, application frameworks, and data models. This includes Service Connectors for integrating Pega PRPC with third-party systems using RESTful Services (JSON, XML, HTTP), and integrating Pega with other technology platforms, APIs, data models, UIs, and security features within Pega Infinity.
- Define and enforce standards for ruleset strategy, branching, reuse patterns, and deployment.
- Debug Pega applications using tools such as Tracer, Clipboard, Admin, and PDC, alongside knowledge of monitoring tools like Kibana and New Relic.
- Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting using PAL, AES/diagnostics, and tracer patterns.
- Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and drive quality through comprehensive testing strategies.
- Collaborate effectively with architects, product owners, and QA teams for end-to-end delivery.
- Focus on performance engineering and optimization for large workloads.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in:
- Enterprise-scale case architecture and orchestration.
- Integration architecture (API-led, event-driven, distributed systems).
- Ruleset strategy, branching, and governance at scale.




- Security architecture (enterprise-grade access control, data security, compliance).

Required Experience
- 6+ years in IT.
- 5 – 8 years of strong hands-on Pega development experience with end-to-end delivery ownership.
- Practical experience in 2 coding languages or advanced practical experience in 1 language.

Must-Have Qualifications
- CSSA certification (mandatory).
- Robust design and implementation skills across:
- Case architecture (multi-case orchestration, reusable subprocesses).
- Data layer (data pages, sourcing, caching, pagination strategies).
- UI rules (sections, harnesses), correspondence, SLAs, routing.

- Strong integration experience, including:

- Designing REST services, connectors, authentication patterns, resiliency, and retry strategies.
- Error handling, mapping, and logging standards.

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills using Tracer, Clipboard, PAL, and for production issue triage.
- Experience with DevOps practices for Pega (branching model, pipeline deployments, merge governance).

Good-to-Have Qualifications
- Deep experience with Pega Constellation (design, migration, and enterprise rollout).
- Expertise in cloud-native deployments (Pega Cloud, Kubernetes/AKS/EKS, observability).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and release governance at scale.
- Exposure to Pega GenAI / AI-driven workflows / Agentic AI capabilities.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration ecosystems and microservices architecture.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Banking / Financial Services domain (disputes, cards, payments, lending, onboarding, servicing).
- Experience with Pega Smart Disputes or other Pega industry frameworks.
- Exposure to global, multi-region deployments with compliance and regulatory considerations.
- Proven track record in legacy modernization programs (mainframe, BPM, workflow platforms).
