Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Production Planning & Scheduling professional to oversee and optimize our manufacturing operations. This role is critical in ensuring efficient production flow, timely delivery of goods, and effective inventory management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing production schedules, coordinating with various departments, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer requirements and sales forecasts.
- Develop and release work orders to manufacturing departments, ensuring all necessary resources are allocated.
- Monitor production schedules, track progress, and identify deviations, taking corrective actions to ensure adherence to delivery commitments.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Projects departments to ensure smooth execution of plans and resolve any inter-departmental issues.
- Track production progress, ensure timely closure of production orders in the ERP system, and analyze capacity utilization to avoid bottlenecks.
- Monitor raw material availability, coordinate with the Purchase department for timely procurement, and maintain optimum inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.




- Ensure on-time delivery as per customer schedules and coordinate dispatch priorities with Stores and Logistics.
- Update and maintain production planning data in ERP systems and generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management review.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen practices to drive productivity improvement, reduce WIP inventory, and shorten lead times.
