Job Description – Senior Executive – Inventory

Job Title: Senior Executive – Inventory Department: Operations Reporting To: Inventory Manager / Regional Manager Location: Bhiwandi, Maharashtra Experience: 3–6 Years Qualification: Any Graduate

Job Overview

To manage day-to-day inventory operations and ensure high inventory accuracy, proper stock reconciliation and timely inventory updates across warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform WMS vs. physical stock reconciliation and identify stock discrepancies.

2. Track inward, outward, processed and cancelled orders against available inventory.

3. Plan and execute monthly cycle counts and ensure timely reconciliation.

4. Support wall-to-wall physical inventory counting as per the defined schedule.

5. Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate stock variances, losses and discrepancies.

6. Prepare and maintain inventory MIS, stock reports and reconciliation reports.

7. Coordinate with warehouse teams to resolve inventory-related issues.

8. Provide required inventory data and documents for internal and external audits.

9.



Monitor inventory damages and losses and support corrective actions.

10. Ensure proper control and daily counting of packing materials.

11. Ensure timely and accurate updates in WMS/ERP.

12. Follow company SOPs and inventory control procedures.

Required Skills

 Strong knowledge of Inventory Management & Inventory Control

 Stock Reconciliation & Cycle Counting

 WMS / ERP / Warehouse Management Software

 Good MS Excel skills

 Order Processing & Warehouse Operations

 MIS Reporting & Data Analysis

 Good analytical and problem-solving skills

 Positive communication and coordination skills

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates from 3PL, Logistics, E-commerce, FMCG, Retail, Distribution or Warehouse Operations will be preferred.

Internal Coordination

Warehouse, Operations, Finance, Customer Service and other internal teams.

External Coordination

Customers, Auditors, Vendors and Logistics Partners.
