SAM Analyst

The SAM Analyst is the operational core of the SAM practice, responsible for maintaining license position accuracy, supporting compliance activities and create regular reporting.

Key responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile software license positions across all publishers and deployments environments.
- Operate and maintain Sam tooling while running discovery cycles, normalize publisher and product data as well as investigate anomalies.
- Produce regular effective license positions reports (ELP).
- Support software audit responses and gather deployment evidence and validate entitlement documentation.
- Work with rest of the team as well as IT operations to investigate unmanaged or unlicensed software findings.

Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in software asset management, IT procurement or license compliance.
- Working knowledge of common publisher licensing models such as Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, and, in this case, engineering software with server based and token based licensing.
- Experience with at least one SAM or ITAM platform.
- Proficiency in Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
