Job Description:

The Deputy Vice President – Business Development – Canara and Associates is a key executive role dedicated to driving strategic growth, integrating advanced technologies, and cultivating essential partnerships within the Canara distribution network. This position plays a crucial role in revenue generation, market expansion, and leveraging innovation to enhance business operations and customer experiences for both distributors and end users.
The incumbent will work closely with Canara Bank, spearheading business development initiatives, identifying opportunities to establish new revenue streams within the bank, and utilizing technology to elevate customer experiences. This role is instrumental in making CHL more efficient, customer-centric, and technologically advanced.
In close collaboration with the Head of Business Development at Canara’s Head Office, the Deputy Vice President will engage with internal support teams and distributor networks to explore integration opportunities and create new business avenues.



The incumbent will work closely with the Head – BD to manage partner-level engagements, oversee sales service propositions, and support regulatory and governance-related deliverables. The role demands a deep understanding of the insurance ecosystem, the ability to identify white spaces, and the execution of creative solutions that align with organizational goals. The role holder will also be responsible for leading internal projects that improve productivity, streamline processes, and enhance the overall partner experience, while ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and compliance standards.
This role requires a deep understanding of the insurance ecosystem, the ability to identify untapped market opportunities, and the execution of innovative solutions aligned with Company objectives. The incumbent will also lead internal projects aimed at improving productivity, streamlining processes, and enhancing the overall partner experience
