JUNIOR DESIGNER
Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Designer to support our design team in developing new apparel designs, collections, and product concepts. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, colours, and garment construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior designers in developing new garment designs and collections.
- Research current fashion trends, colours, fabrics, prints, and styles.
- Create design concepts, sketches, and mood boards.
- Develop colour combinations and fabric/trim selections.
- Prepare technical design details, specifications, and measurement sheets.
- Coordinate with the merchandising, sampling, production, and purchase teams.
- Follow up on samples and suggest design improvements where required.
- Maintain design files, artwork, references, and product records.
- Assist in developing new styles based on customer and market requirements.
- Ensure designs are practical for production and meet quality standards.
- Support the team during sample development and product approvals.




- Participate in product reviews and provide creative inputs.

Requirements
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in fashion/apparel design; freshers can also apply.
- Basic knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and production processes.
- Good knowledge of colour combinations and fashion trends.
- Basic skills in CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design software.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Creative thinking with robust attention to detail.
- Ability to work within deadlines and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills
- Fashion illustration and sketching.
- Print and embroidery design knowledge.
- Knowledge of garment measurements and specifications.
- Trend forecasting and market research.
- Basic knowledge of CAD/design software.

Salary
?15,000 – ?25,000 pe
