Job Description
The primary focus of this position will involve conducting research activities under the project titled “Hospital Automation using multiagent robotic systems”. The project employs embedded systems, ROS based programming, path planning and control as well as minor mechanical interfacing for additional purpose-built payloads.
Project engineer/assistant will be responsible for:
• Carrying out various developmental activities associated within the project.
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements in the field actively seek opportunities to incorporate current technologies into the workflow.
• Work effectively as part of a team
• Communicate scientific findings clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1-2 year experience (preferably Masters degree or equivalent) in Mechatronics/Robotics or, Electronics and Computer Science with embedded systems spec. or, Instrumentation and controls with robotics/mechatronics exposure thru’ projects and allied areas with an excellent academic record.
Skills
A minimum of 1 year experience in:
• Robotics/mechatronics embedded systems and IoT
• ROS operating systems - simulation, control and path planning
• Programming languages
