Solar Technician

We are looking for a Solar Technician to join our team for solar installation and service projects across Tamil Nadu.

Key Responsibilities

Install and commission on-grid, off-grid and hybrid solar systems.

Install solar panels, mounting structures and related equipment.

Perform DC & AC electrical wiring, cable laying, termination and dressing.

Install inverters, DBs, isolators, MC4 connectors and protection devices.

Carry out solar and electrical earthing work.

Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and testing.

Handle minor civil works such as drilling, grouting, concrete work and equipment mounting.

Ensure work is completed fast, neatly, safely and with good quality.

Follow site instructions, safety procedures and installation standards.

Maintain tools and equipment and keep the work area clean.

Coordinate with supervisors and team members to complete projects on time.

Work Conditions

Variable working hours depending on project requirements.

Willingness to travel across Tamil Nadu for installation and service work.

Overnight stay may be required for outstation projects.

Comfortable working on rooftops, at heights and in different weather/site conditions.





Must be adaptable to work at different locations and project sites.

Skills Required

Good knowledge of electrical wiring and basic electrical systems.

Knowledge/experience in solar PV installation preferred.

Practical knowledge of earthing and electrical protection systems.

Ability to use electrical and hand tools.

Basic knowledge of civil/fabrication work.

Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights.

Fast, hardworking, responsible and quality-conscious.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good discipline, punctuality and willingness to learn.

Safety-conscious and committed to completing work within deadlines.

Qualification & Experience

ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or related field preferred.

1–3 years of solar/electrical installation experience preferred.

Freshers with good electrical knowledge and willingness to learn may also apply.
