We’re looking for a smart, confident and highly driven Business Development Intern who wants to learn how real B2B sales works.
This is not an internship where you’ll sit back and observe the sales team.
You’ll be expected to research companies, identify opportunities, speak to people, follow up, learn quickly and help create new business conversations.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON? PROSPECTING & LEAD GENERATION
• Research companies and potential clients
• Identify marketing, brand, CSR, communications and event decision-makers
• Build high-quality prospect lists
• Find relevant upcoming campaigns, events and business opportunities
• Identify companies that could benefit from films and video content
? OUTREACH
• Connect with prospects through LinkedIn, email and calls
• Start skilled conversations with potential clients
• Understand whether they have an upcoming video requirement
• Introduce Wilmarcs and our capabilities clearly
• Follow up consistently without spamming prospects
? BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
• Support conversations with qualified prospects




• Understand client requirements and capture information clearly
• Coordinate with the internal team for proposals and presentations
• Help move opportunities from first conversation to meetings and proposals
• Learn how B2B relationships are built over time
? SALES DISCIPLINE
• Maintain accurate CRM records
• Track leads, conversations and follow-ups
• Keep opportunities moving instead of allowing leads to disappear
• Maintain daily/weekly activity numbers
• Learn how a professional sales pipeline works
