GM Sales / Sales Head
nLocation - Kolhapur & Mumbai.
nThe Position
nWe are a research and consulting wing. We prepare tailored market intelligence and price outlook reports on agri commodities such as sugar, maize, and wheat for large food, beverage, and FMCG companies, who use them for procurement planning and price risk management.
nYou will own revenue: finding the right corporate buyers, understanding their procurement problems, and shaping research engagements that solve them. This is consultative selling to sharp, senior buyers who know their commodities well. We are looking for 8 to 12 years in B2B solution or research sales, ideally with exposure to commodities, market intelligence, or procurement functions.

- Own the revenue target and the sales plan behind itn
- Build and manage a pipeline of corporate clients in food, beverage, FMCG, and allied sectorsn
- Sell subscriptions, tailored reports, and consulting retainersn
- Work with the research team to scope deliverables that clients renew year after yearn

- Identify and reach procurement, sourcing, and commodity risk decision-makers at target companiesn
- Lead discovery conversations, map client needs to our research capabilities, and prepare proposalsn
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and close annual and multi-year engagementsn
- Manage renewals and grow existing accounts through additional commodities and servicesn
- Give the research team structured client feedback on report format, frequency, and depthn
- Maintain accurate pipeline records and share a weekly sales MIS with managementn
- Represent at SEIC, Round Table sessions, and other industry forumsn
- Build the sales playbook and, as revenue grows, hire and lead a small sales teamn
