Key Responsibilities:

● Maintain and update the software asset inventory (licenses, installations, entitlements)

● Reconcile purchased licenses against actual deployment/usage data

● Assist with software license compliance audits (internal and vendor-initiated)

● Track software contract renewal dates and support renewal/negotiation prep

● Help identify unused or underused licenses to reduce costs

● Support onboarding/offboarding processes related to software provisioning and deprovisioning

● Maintain documentation for SAM policies, procedures, and the CMDB (configuration management database)

● Collaborate with IT procurement, legal, and security teams on license terms and usage rights

● Generate reports on license utilization, spend, and compliance status

● Manage the procurement of telecommunications and colocation services.

● Evaluate telecom vendor bids, negotiate contracts,



analyze costs, and maintain inventory.

Required Qualifications

● 5 years' experience in IT, asset management, procurement, or related field

● Bachelor's degree in IT, business, or equivalent experience

● Basic understanding of software licensing models (per-user, per-device, subscription, concurrent)

● Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with databases a plus

● Solid attention to detail and organizational skills

● Good communication skills for cross-team coordination

● Industry knowledge of telecom environments

Preferred / Nice to Have

● Exposure to ITAM/SAM tools (Flexera, Snow, ServiceNow)

● Knowledge of common vendor licensing (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, SAP)
