Principal Engineer – Structural Analysis
Overview:
In this role the Principal Engineer (Stress),
will support engineering activities related to structural analysis for Nacelle products
What You Will Do:
- Lead and perform structural analysis of Aircraft nacelle components and assemblies with creating significant impact on organizational objectives.
- Perform advanced structural analyses for aircraft components and systems using analytical and finite element methods.
- Structural analysis includes Developing interface loads, Static analysis, Fatigue analysis, Damage-Tolerance analysis, Vibration analysis and Crack growth analysis with NASGRO.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and engineering documentation to support design decisions and certification activities.
- Support and conduct design reviews (CDR and PDR), technical discussions, and engineering presentations.
- Responsible for schedule and cost for the project assigned. Responsible for engineering metrics like OTD, FPY, MFA, etc.
