We develop best-in-class mechanical and electronic products for Rail and Truck Vehicle Systems. Knorr-Bremse Technology Center India is co-located alongside the production plant in Pune. In order to benefit from synergies, mechanical, electronics, and software development for Rail, Truck, and IT are housed in the same facility.

JOB DESCRIPTION:





Purpose of Position
Lead a global IT team responsible for the Mechanical Engineering application landscape, including CAD/CAx, PLM, simulation, engineering data, integrations, administration, and support. Driving standardization, governance, operational excellence, and AI-enabled innovation across the engineering IT ecosystem.

Education

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Engineering Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Qualified Experience

• 10+ years in Engineering IT supporting CAD/CAx, PLM and engineering applications.
• 5+ years leading global IT application support/administration teams.
• Experience managing enterprise engineering platforms, vendors and service delivery.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Engineering IT, application administration and support.
• Deep knowledge of CAD platforms (PTC Creo, Siem
