9 PDC2C Summary:As a Software Engineer – FX Linear Lifecycle & Risk, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing digital products and technology services for FX Cash Trading. You will build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications while working in an agile environment, ensuring system reliability, observability, and compliance. The role involves collaborating with global teams, supporting production systems, and delivering sustainable technology solutions for the financial domain. Roles & Responsibilities:Design, develop, and enhance digital products and technology services.Analyze business requirements and implement new features.Apply software engineering best practices, including automated testing and deployment.Ensure application quality, security, reliability, and compliance.Build observability, monitor production health, and resolve incidents.Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.Collaborate with business stakeholders, COO teams,



and global IT teams.Support L3 production activities and release management.Share technical knowledge, contribute to engineering best practices, and support hiring initiatives.Advocate client needs while delivering scalable and sustainable technology solutions. Professional & Technical Skills:Robust hands-on experience in Java development.Expertise in multithreading, memory management, and low-latency real-time systems.Strong understanding of DBMS (MS SQL, Sybase, Oracle preferred).Working knowledge of IBM MQ and Kafka.Exposure to DevOps practices, build and release management (GitLab preferred).Experience with Azure Cloud technologies.Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and support production (L3) activities.Excellent communication, presentation, and technical documentation skills.
