Purpose of the Role :
Responsible for the development, validation, and delivery of Vehicle Thermal Management attributes across Tata Motors programs, ensuring achievement of performance, efficiency, quality, cost, and timeline targets aligned with brand, segment, and market requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
Thermal Attribute Development & Technology Planning:
- Contribute to Thermal Management Attribute Maturity Plans and future technology roadmaps.
- Conduct vehicle and process assessments, data collection, analysis, and benchmarking activities.
- Study market trends, customer feedback, competitor products, industry journals, and emerging thermal technologies.
- Develop attribute futuring reports based on benchmarking, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements.
- Define and release recent thermal management requirements, guidelines, validation methods, and test processes.
- Develop and improve correlation models between simulation, bench testing, and vehicle-level validation.
- Support technology demonstrations and proof-of-concept activities.





Project Delivery & Validation :
- Define thermal attribute targets and ensure sign-off against project requirements.
- Prepare and release DVP (Design Validation Plan) for virtual and physical validations.
- Plan and monitor thermal attribute assessments across prototype and production stages.
- Track validation issues and drive closure through structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and validate corrective actions.
- Generate test reports, engineering sign-offs, and ESO compliance documentation.
- Support field issue investigations, VAVE initiatives, NTD proposals, weight optimization, and quality improvement projects.
- Ensure timely achievement of project milestones, gateway deliverables, and thermal performance targets.

Process Improvement & Innovation :
- Develop and release new thermal validation methodologies and test procedures.
