ROLE: Project Associate-I
The Project Associate-I will contribute to the development of an optical sensor for heavy metal detection in water. The role involves interdisciplinary research across chemistry, materials science, data analysis, electronics, and device development. The candidate will work with researchers, Co-PI/collaborator groups, and industry partners on sensor testing and development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support research and development activities related to optical sensor development for heavy metal detection.
- Conduct experiments, data analysis, literature surveys, and scientific documentation.
- Collaborate with researchers, Co-PI/collaborator groups,



and industry partners for sensor testing and device development.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:
- Master’s degree in chemistry/Materials Science or bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology, preferably with NET qualification/GATE score, as applicable.
- Two years of research experience after the minimum qualifying degree, supported by an experience certificate from the competent authority.
- Fresh Master's/ B.Tech candidates with outstanding academic or research performance are also encouraged to apply

SKILLS:
- Knowledge of analytical chemistry tools, statistical methods, scientific writing, and literature survey
- Experience in rapid prototyping, computational chemistry/simulations, CAD software, data analysis, or device development will be desirable.
