Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and record daily scrap generation.
- Segregate scrap by type (metal, plastic, paper, electronic waste, hazardous waste, etc.).
- Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of scrap.
- Coordinate with approved scrap vendors for collection and disposal.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Prepare reports on scrap generation, disposal, and recovery.
- Reduce waste through process improvements and recycling initiatives.
- Coordinate with production, stores, and quality teams regarding scrap handling.
- Conduct periodic audits of scrap yards and storage areas.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of scrap classification and recycling processes.
- Record-keeping.
- Basic knowledge of environmental and waste management
