Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team and work with our engineering team to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain our organization’s cloud-based solutions. You will be responsible for deploying and debugging cloud stacks, educating teams on new cloud initiatives, automate workloads, and pursue next-generation innovation and ensuring the security of the cloud infrastructure. Ultimately, you will work with different IT professionals and teams to ensure our cloud computing systems meet the needs of our organization.

Duties:
- Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems
- Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices
- Ensure effective functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with security policies and best practices in cloud security
- Identify, analyse, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
- Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements




- Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
- Modifying and improving existing systems
- Proactively seek cost reduction in regard to overall Cloud infrastructure forecasting and managing budgetary practices
- You will build and maintain private, hybrid and public cloud environments for the organization
- You will implement and maintain a systems business impact assessment to prioritize system recovery in the event of a failure
- You will evaluate new technologies to meet business needs or to solve business problems
- You will work with Technology partners, vendors and consultants on developing system-specific skills
- Creating and reviewing technical documentation
- Depending on the work environment, the Cloud Engineer may be an active participant of a workgroup with the need for specialized knowledge regarding Cloud
