ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a junior IC role within the second line Risk and Compliance function, based in Gurgaon. You will report into the SVP, Assurance COE on a day-to-day basis, with functional oversight from the Deputy Head of Compliance and head of Operational Risk. You will be the operational backbone of the Risk and Compliance team — keeping registers accurate, governance reporting on track, and the Compliance Calendar running smoothly. Your work directly supports the Bank's ability to meet its regulatory obligations and maintain a clean compliance posture.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the accuracy and timeliness of the Bank's core compliance registers — conflicts of interest, outside business interests, insider lists,



and breach logs — conducting periodic reviews to ensure they remain current and audit-ready.
- Support risk event reviews and breach management processes, helping to ensure issues are documented, tracked, and resolved in line with the Bank's policy framework.
- Maintain and update Compliance and Risk policies and procedures, including oversight of the overall Policy Framework, ensuring documents reflect current regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Drive the Compliance Calendar, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed on time and governance reporting — including monthly and quarterly committee packs — is compiled and issued accurately.
- Manage the Compliance Advisory mailbox, ensuring all incoming requests are logged, triaged, and directed appropriately, and providing administrative support to the wider team as needed.
