Job Summary

Advanced SolidWorks Mechanical Designer with solid experience in designing mining and mineral processing equipment such as thickeners and comminution products. The role involves developing complex assemblies, fabrication drawings, and models for heavy industrial equipment used in mining and separation processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed 3D models and large assemblies based on FLS inputs in SolidWorks for:

Thickeners and clarifiers

-
Mills

-
Prepare manufacturing drawings for fabricated and machined components.

-
Create GA drawings, layout drawings, and Erection drawings.

-
Design structural and fabricated assemblies (tanks, bridges, mechanisms, supports).

-
Work on sheet metal, weldments, and heavy fabrication models.

-
Apply GD&T; and tolerance stack-up for rotating and process equipment.

-
Generate and manage BOMs and drawing release packages.

-
Coordinate with process, structural, and project engineers.

-
Review vendor drawings and integrate supplier models.
