Job Description
- Manage PO confirmations, acknowledgements, amendments, cancellations, and past-due PO follow-ups.
- Coordinate with suppliers, planners, project managers, and cross-functional stakeholders on material requirements.
- Manage Pull-In/Push-Out activities and communicate schedule changes to suppliers and internal teams.
- Expedite critical materials and proactively track supplier commitments, delivery dates, and manufacturing milestones.
- Conduct regular supplier calls and, when required, supplier visits to ensure on-time material delivery.
- Liaise with Engineering and suppliers to resolve issues impacting manufacturing and delivery schedules.
- Negotiate and align need dates and supplier promise dates with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure timely receipt and completeness of shipment and required supporting documents.
- Provide regular status updates on material shortages, delivery risks, and supplier performance to key stakeholders.
- Experience in SAP.
