- Solid administration experience in Microsoft SQL Server (On Prem, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance).
- Design and manage High Availability & DR solutions (AlwaysOn AG, FCI, Log Shipping, Geo replication).
- Monitor and optimize performance (I/O latency, wait stats, TempDB, blocking, indexing, query tuning). .
- Manage backup, restore, and DR testing aligned to RPO/RTO requirements.
- Hands on experience with Azure PaaS networking (VNet, Private Endpoints) and Azure monitoring tools.
- Implement database security (RBAC, TDE, Always Encrypted, Auditing, Entra ID integration).
- Develop automation using PowerShell, T SQL, SQL Agent, and Azure Automation.
- Perform capacity planning, storage optimization, and support cost governance initiatives.
- Handle P1/P2 incidents, conduct RCA, and provide production stabilization support.
- Support database migrations, upgrades, assessments, and modernization initiatives
