Job Description:
- Loading and unloading:
- Connect hoses and operate pumps, valves, and gauges to load and unload materials from tanker trucks and/or railcars.

- Monitor the transfer process to ensure proper flow and prevent spills or overfills.
- Verify the quantity and quality of the materials being transferred against shipping documents.

- Safety and compliance:
- Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies, related to handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
- Use and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform safety inspections of equipment and the loading area before and after each transfer.
- Recognize and report any unsafe conditions, incidents, or spills immediately to a supervisor.
- Documentation and inventory:
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including manifests, bills of lading, and inspection reports.
- Record daily activities, maintenance performed, and material transferred into the company's computer system.
- Equipment operation and maintenance:




- Perform routine checks and minor maintenance on loading equipment, hoses, and other tools.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, as needed to move materials.
- General warehouse duties:
- Assist with other material handling, storage, and organizational tasks in the warehouse as required.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Collaborate with dispatchers, drivers, and other warehouse personnel to coordinate schedules and resolve issues.
