Position / Role TitleAlternative Research AssociateJob description
- Gather and analyse data from traditional and non-traditional sources.
- Identify and interpret market trends (Equity/Derivatives) and economic indicators specific to the Indian market.
- Monitor and analyse index components (local/MSCI) and assist in the rebalancing process to ensure indices accurately reflect market conditions and investment strategies.




- Prepare detailed research reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with other research analysts and industry experts to enhance the quality of research.
- Present findings and insights to clients, addressing their queries and providing strategic recommendations.
- Ability to leverage unconventional data sources and methodologies.
- Run quantitative screeners to identify investment opportunities and conduct rollover analysis and interpret derivative positions.

(Qualifications & Experience)
- Minimum 3-4 years of work experience in alternative research profile
- Graduate + Post Graduate / MBA
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Demonstrate knowledge of special situations trades, including open offers, M&A;, and buybacks.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL & Excel.
- Experience with data visualization tools like
