 Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and API testing.

 Automate functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end test scenarios to improve test coverage and

reduce manual effort.

 Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and functional

requirements.

 Perform manual testing for new features and exploratory testing where automation is not applicable.

 Validate REST APIs using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.

 Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or

equivalent tools.

 Analyze automation results, investigate failures, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.

 Log, track, and verify defects using Jira or similar defect management tools.

 Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and

retrospectives.

 Continuously improve automation coverage, framework stability, and testing best practices.

 Prepare test execution reports, quality metrics,



and release readiness reports.

Required Skills

 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on automation testing.

 Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress.

 Strong programming skills in Java /Python/JavaScript for automation development.

 Experience with TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or similar testing frameworks.

 Hands-on experience in API automation using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools.

 Valuable understanding of Page Object Model (POM), data-driven, keyword-driven, or hybrid automation

frameworks.

 Experience with version control systems such as Git.

 Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

 Strong SQL knowledge for backend and database validation.

 Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
