Senior Business Analyst – Islamic Banking
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst – Islamic Banking to act as the domain expert and product ownership partner for Islamic core banking capabilities. The role will translate Islamic banking business needs, Shariah principles, and regulatory requirements into explicit,



delivery-ready requirements for engineering teams.
Working closely with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, QA, Implementation, Compliance, and client-facing teams, this role will define and validate Shariah-aligned solutions across Islamic financing, deposits, pool management, profit calculation, distribution, accounting, controls, and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and refine the functional backlog for Islamic banking capabilities, converting roadmap priorities, client needs, regulatory changes, and Shariah requirements into user stories, business rules, workflows, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Act as the product ownership partner for Engineering, clarifying requirements, resolving functional questions, supporting prioritization trade-offs, and ensuring the delivery team understands the business problem, expected behaviour, and customer value.
