About the opportunity
We are hiring a Director – Accounting for a PE-backed, high-growth global technology company with operations across the US, EU and India. The role is based in Gurugram and reports directly into the Global CFO. This is a senior, hands-on finance leadership role for a technically strong accounting professional who can own global financial reporting, drive multi-entity controllership, and operate effectively in a fast-scaling, M&A-active; environment.

Key responsibilities

Financial reporting & controllership
- Own the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of consolidated financial statements prepared in accordance with US GAAP
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across all entities and geographies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, managing the annual audit cycle end-to-end
- Design, implement, and continuously improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures

Systems & process
- Own and optimise NetSuite as the core ERP — including chart of accounts design, workflow automation,



and reporting configuration
- Lead rollout of current or restructured Chart of Accounts across entities as the business scales
- Document and standardise GAAP accounting policies, process runbooks, and controls matrix
- Establish and enforce a disciplined month-end close calendar across the finance team

PE & investor reporting
- Partner closely with PE sponsors on reporting cadences, board packages, covenant compliance, and portfolio-level financial reporting
- Support due diligence, quality-of-earnings processes, and investor reporting deliverables

M&A; & integration
- Lead accounting workstreams for M&A; transactions — due diligence, purchase accounting, opening balance sheet preparation, and post-close integration

Global operations
- Oversee accounting operations across multiple regions — US, EU, APAC, and India
- Navigate multi-currency consolidation, transfer pricing considerations, and cross-border reporti
