Description
The Emerging Markets department is seeking a motivated Apprentice to assist senior analysts with research, data collection, and reporting on high‑growth regions. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on exposure to market entry strategies, regulatory environments, and cross‑functional collaboration. You will build foundational skills in market analysis while contributing to real‑world projects that drive USGI's expansion initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and organizing market data from primary and secondary sources.
- Support the preparation of briefing notes, presentations, and reports for senior staff.
- Conduct basic financial and economic analysis under guidance.
- Monitor news and regulatory updates relevant to target emerging markets.
- Help maintain databases and ensure data accuracy.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain required information.




- Perform ad‑hoc research tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Document findings and maintain clear records of research activities.
- Provide logistical support for field visits and virtual workshops.

Qualifications
- Age between 21 and 25 years.
- Recent graduate or fresh graduate (no prior professional experience required).
- Strong learning aptitude and ability to quickly grasp recent concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated hardworking attitude and reliability.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications (MS Office, internet research).
- Interest in international business and emerging market dynamics.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
