QA Manager – Digital Banking

Role: People Leadership | QE Strategy | Quality Governance | Delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage SDET & QA teams, including hiring, mentoring, resource planning and capability development.
- Own the QE strategy and quality roadmap for Retail Net Banking and Mobile Banking.
- Establish quality governance, KPIs, dashboards, quality gates, DRE/defect metrics and release health.
- Drive automation-first, shift-left testing across Web, Mobile, API, Microservices and Payments.
- Provide QA leadership across UPI, Payments, Deposits, Onboarding, Lending, Cards and Investments.
- Govern test automation frameworks, API testing, contract testing, performance, resilience and chaos testing.
- Drive AI-led testing, cloud-native QA, CI/CD, DevSecOps and observability using GCP.
- Ensure compliance with RBI, security, audit, PII/data protection and banking regulations.
- Own production readiness, release sign-offs, defect triage, RCA and post-production validation.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Architecture, DevOps, Security and Release teams for high-quality digital banking releases.
