Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PU Foam Machine Operator to join our team at the Mangaon Plant. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and controlling PUF/PIR panel foaming units, ensuring optimal machine performance, product quality, and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Foaming Machine Operations: Set up and monitor mix ratios/indexes (NCO:OH), temperatures, pressures, and line speeds as per SOP recipes.
- Raw Material Management: Handle polyol/pentane premixing (FEFO guidelines, storage temperature monitoring, filter cleanouts, and drum changes) with full batch traceability.
- Quality & In-Process Checks: Perform regular checks for cream/gel/tack-free times, core density, adhesion/peel strength, and surface finish.
- Process Line Setup: Operate assigned profile, flashing, bending, or slitting line machinery and assist with line changeovers to minimize downtime.
- Safety & EHS Compliance: Enforce pentane safety (EX-proof/LEL controls, grounding/earthing, ventilation), adhere to LOTO protocols,



use proper PPE, and handle spill responses.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Flag parameters causing voids, delamination, or scorching; perform basic machine cleaning, lubrication, and first-level maintenance checks.
- Reporting: Maintain shift output logs, downtime reports, rejection tags, and accurate ERP/MES entries.

Candidate Profile & Key Skills

- Education: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or Production Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 6+ months in continuous PUF / PIR sandwich panel production or polyurethane foaming machines.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of chemical mix ratios, temperature/pressure parameters, basic sheet metal processing (shearing/press brake), and shop-floor safety (5S, LOTO).
