About the Role

Enzo International is looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Accountant to manage the company’s complete accounting and finance function.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling the day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliances, taxation, banking, receivables, payables, payroll coordination, and financial reporting. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can take ownership of the accounting function and ensure that the company’s financial records and compliances are maintained accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Manage the complete day-to-day accounting function of the company.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure all accounting entries are recorded correctly and on time.
- Handle purchase, sales, expenses, receipts, payments, journal entries, and general ledger accounting.
- Perform regular bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all financial transactions.
- Monitor and clear outstanding accounting entries and reconciliations.

Accounts Receivable & Payable

- Manage customer invoicing, receivables, collections, and outstanding balances.
- Follow up on overdue receivables and maintain an accurate ageing report.
- Manage vendor bills, payment schedules, and outstanding payables.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors/customers to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
- Prepare regular receivable and payable reports for management.

GST & Taxation

- Handle GST accounting, reconciliations, and monthly/quarterly filings.
- Ensure timely filing of GST returns and other applicable statutory returns.
- Assist with TDS calculations, payments, returns, and reconciliations.




- Coordinate with tax consultants and auditors wherever required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax and statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper records and documentation for audits and assessments.

Banking & Payments

- Handle day-to-day banking activities and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare payment instructions and coordinate with management for approvals.
- Monitor bank balances and cash flows.
- Maintain records of bank transactions, deposits, transfers, and other banking activities.
- Coordinate with banks for routine account-related matters.

Financial Reporting & MIS

- Prepare monthly and periodic financial statements and management reports.
- Prepare Profit & Loss statements, balance sheet schedules, ageing reports, cash-flow statements, and other MIS reports.
- Provide management with accurate financial information and analysis when required.
- Track expenses, margins, outstanding receivables/payables, and cash flow.
- Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Payroll & Employee Accounting

- Coordinate monthly payroll processing and ensure accurate salary-related accounting.
- Handle employee reimbursements, advances, and related accounting entries.
- Ensure applicable TDS and other deductions are correctly accounted for.

Audit & Compliance

- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and other professional advisors.
- Prepare schedules, supporting documents, and information required for audits.
- Ensure books and records are maintained in an audit-ready manner.
- Assist with year-end closing and finalisation of accounts.





General Finance Responsibilities

- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure proper financial procedures are followed.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them proactively.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Support management with financial information and ad-hoc analysis as required.
- Take ownership of the overall accounting function and ensure deadlines are consistently met.

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (B.Com preferred).
- 10+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a company where the candidate has independently handled the accounts function.
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting practices, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar ERP/accounting systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Robust attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable, and capable of independently managing the company’s accounting function.

The ideal candidate should not require constant supervision and should be comfortable taking responsibility for everything from routine accounting entries and reconciliations to GST/TDS compliance, payments, collections, audits, and management reporting.

The ability to identify issues, solve them proactively, and keep the company’s accounts and compliances up to date is essential.

Compensation

Salary: 35,000 - 45,000
