Key Responsibilities

- Operate VMC machines as per approved process sheets, drawings and work instructions.
- Load/unload components, fixtures and tools correctly.
- Set and adjust tool offsets, work offsets and cutting parameters as required.
- Perform in-process inspection using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per specifications.
- Perform tool changes and basic machine adjustments.
- Complete production records, job cards and inspection records accurately.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow 5S, FOD, PPE and safety requirements.
- Carry out basic machine cleaning and preventive maintenance activities.
- Minimize rejection, rework,



machine downtime and tool wastage.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of VMC machine operation.
- Basic knowledge of Fanuc controls is preferred.
- Knowledge of tool and work offsets.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances.
- Knowledge of cutting tools and basic machining parameters.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
- Valuable discipline, attention to detail and willingness to work in shifts.
- Aerospace / precision machining experience will be an advantage.
