Job Description
We are looking for an experienced US Accountant / Finance Operations professional based in India to manage accounting, US tax coordination, payments, collections, and day-to-day financial operations for our US-based businesses.
nThis is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable owning the finance function rather than only doing bookkeeping.
nResponsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for US entitiesn
- Maintain accurate P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow, and general ledger recordsn
- Support and coordinate US federal and state tax filings, including working with external CPAs when neededn
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivablen
- Own collections and follow-up on outstanding invoicesn
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, payment processors, and financial platformsn
- Handle Stripe disputes, chargebacks, evidence submissions, and dispute trackingn
- Monitor incoming payments and investigate failed, delayed, or unmatched transactionsn
- Manage vendor payments, employee expenses, reimbursements,



and corporate cardsn
- Assist with month-end and year-end closen
- Maintain supporting documentation for transactions and financial recordsn
- Prepare financial reports and management dashboardsn
- Help improve accounting controls, reconciliation processes, and finance workflowsn
- Coordinate with leadership, CPAs, vendors, customers, banks, and payment processors as neededn

nRequirements

- Based in Indian
- 3+ years of accounting or finance operations experiencen
- Robust experience handling accounting for US-based companiesn
- Working knowledge of US accounting and tax requirementsn
- Experience with US tax preparation or directly supporting US CPA/tax filingsn
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, AP, AR, and financial reportingn
- Experience with several of the following platforms is strongly preferred:n
- Rho, Mercury, Brex, Ramp, Zoho, Zen Payments, Stripen
