We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager with experience in industrial automation solution sales. The role involves identifying potential customers and automation projects across manufacturing industries, understanding technical requirements, developing techno-commercial proposals in coordination with internal teams, and managing opportunities through closure.
The position requires strong customer interaction, industry networking, technical understanding of automation systems, and ownership of assigned sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify prospective customers, stakeholders, department heads, and decision-makers across relevant manufacturing industries.
- Develop new business opportunities for industrial automation solutions within the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular customer visits to identify automation requirements and upcoming projects.
- Identify RFQs and project opportunities and ensure timely submission of proposals.
- Understand customer applications, manufacturing processes, and technical requirements.




- Translate customer requirements into suitable automation systems and solution concepts.
- Coordinate with proposal and engineering teams for preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
- Manage the sales cycle from chance identification and requirement discussion through proposal and commercial closure.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, industry stakeholders, and relevant vendor networks.
- Own and achieve assigned annual sales budgets and sales targets.
- Maintain accurate customer, contact, opportunity, and project information in CRM systems.
- Track active opportunities and maintain regular follow-up with customers and internal teams.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline.
- 4–10 years of relevant experience in industri
