Looking for an experienced Collections Manager to manage collection operations, external collection partners and recovery-related activities for a leading financial services organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor the performance of collection agencies/vendors .
- Evaluate vendors, monitor their performance and manage commercial/invoice-related activities.
- Manage repossession and litigation activities.
- Coordinate with auction companies and law firms for repossession and legal matters.
- Monitor litigation cases and ensure timely updates and closure.
- Develop and manage processes for fraud, complaints, bankruptcy and repayment rescheduling .
- Monitor and report performance of special handling cases.
- Develop and document collection policies and SOPs .
- Support collection process and system setup for new business initiatives.




- Test collection systems and identify process/system issues.
- Work closely with internal teams, collection agencies, legal partners and other stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of experience in collections within Consumer Finance / NBFC .
- Strong experience in collection agency/vendor management .
- Good understanding of repossession, litigation and recovery processes .
- Experience handling fraud, complaints, bankruptcy and rescheduling cases.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint ; SQL/database knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
