Job Description

• Provide technical support, guidance, and knowledge sharing to IT team members and support teams.

• Perform and validate server/network configuration backups and restoration procedures to support business continuity and data security.

• Ensure network and security infrastructure is appropriately configured, scalable, resilient, and aligned with business and compliance requirements.

• Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams, device configurations, firewall policies, security controls, processes, SOPs, and incident records.

• Conduct regular network and security maintenance, including firmware/software upgrades, configuration reviews, backups, and change management.

• Coordinate with internal IT teams and other stakeholders to ensure secure and seamless integration of network, server, endpoint, and business systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve network, connectivity, hardware, software, and security-related issues, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Coordinate with OEMs and service providers for support, troubleshooting, upgrades, AMC activities, and technical escalations for servers, Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco switches, and other IT infrastructure.

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessment, security reviews, patching, and hardening activities for network and endpoint infrastructure.

• Implement and maintain network security measures, access controls, firewall rules, segmentation, VPNs, and other safeguards in line with organizational security requirements.

• Monitor security alerts, investigate potential security incidents, coordinate response activities, and ensure timely closure of identified vulnerabilities and threats.

• Manage endpoint security solutions, including endpoint protection, antivirus/EDR, device security policies, threat detection,



incident response, and remediation.

• Manage cybersecurity operations and implement appropriate security controls to protect organizational systems, networks, applications, and data.

• Lead day-to-day network operations, including incident management, problem resolution, preventive maintenance, and service availability.

• Monitor network performance, availability, integrity, capacity, and reliability, ensuring minimum downtime and timely resolution of incidents.

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and other network devices.

• Configure, manage, and maintain Cisco managed network switches, including VLANs, trunking, routing, port security, STP, and related network services.

• Manage and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, including configuration, security policies, NAT, VPN, threat prevention, URL filtering, logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain functional enterprise networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN) based on organizational requirements.

• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server environments, including basic administration and troubleshooting.

Qualification:

Graduate/Post Graduate in Computer Science/Application

Exp – 2-4 Years

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

• Professional certification in networking/security (e.g., CCNP, PCNSE, Palo Alto Networks certification, or equivalent) preferred.

• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewall administration and Cisco managed switches.

• Valuable understanding of network security, cybersecurity principles, endpoint security, VPN, VLAN, routing, switching, and network monitoring.

• Experience with endpoint protection/EDR, security incident handling, vulnerability management, patching, and system hardening.
