Role Summary
Lead the complete HR function for a high-growth QSR business, partnering with the leadership team to build a high-performance, employee-centric organization across restaurants, corporate office, and support functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the HR strategy and people roadmap aligned with business growth plans.
- Own manpower planning for new store openings, existing restaurants, corporate office, and regional operations.
- Build strong talent acquisition and frontline hiring strategies to support rapid expansion.
- Drive employee retention, engagement, culture, and employee experience across the restaurant network.
- Design and implement performance management, KRAs, incentives, and career progression frameworks.
- Lead learning & development, including restaurant leadership, store managers, and frontline capability building.
- Own compensation, benefits, payroll governance, and sales/store incentive structures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, POSH, and HR policies.
- Develop succession planning and leadership pipelines for critical roles.
- Partner with Operations to improve productivity, absenteeism, attrition, and manpower costs.
- Establish HR dashboards and analytics covering attrition, hiring TAT,
manpower productivity, engagement, and cost.
- Lead HR transformation through HRIS, automation, digital recruitment, and data-driven decision making.
- Build and strengthen organizational culture, values, communication, and change-management initiatives.
- Manage employee relations and resolve complex people-related issues across multiple locations.
- Lead and develop the HR team, including regional HR and restaurant HR teams.
Ideal Candidate
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably with significant exposure to QSR, hospitality, retail, FMCG, or other high-volume frontline businesses.
- Strong experience managing large, geographically dispersed frontline workforces.
- Proven track record in high-growth / multi-unit / multi-location organizations.
- Strong understanding of talent acquisition, HR operations, ER, L&D;, C&B;, performance management, and labour compliance.
- Commercially solid HR leader who understands store economics, productivity, and business P&L;.
- Excellent stakeholder-management and leadership skills.
- MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
