Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Field Technician to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot broadband and Wi-Fi services at customer premises. The technician will be responsible for ensuring reliable internet connectivity, resolving technical issues, and delivering excellent customer service.

- Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and activate broadband/Wi-Fi connections at customer premises.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, ONTs/ONU, modems, access points, switches, and other networking equipment.
- Perform fiber-optic and LAN cable installation, termination, testing, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot internet connectivity, Wi-Fi coverage, slow-speed, signal, and network-related issues.
- Configure routers and Wi-Fi networks, including SSID, password, security settings, DHCP, and basic IP configuration.
- Identify and resolve fiber, cable, power, router, and connectivity faults.
- Conduct signal-level and connectivity tests using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Replace faulty network equipment, connectors, cables, and other components when required.
- Ensure proper installation and routing of cables while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Visit customer locations for installation, service requests, complaints, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
- Explain basic Wi-Fi and broadband usage to customers and provide first-level technical support.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, equipment issued, and service calls.
- Coordinate with the Network Operations Center (NOC) and other technical teams for complex issues.
- Complete assigned jobs within defined turnaround time (TAT)



and service-level requirements.
- Follow company safety procedures, technical standards, and installation guidelines.
- Required Skills & Qualifications ITI / Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in broadband, ISP, telecom, networking, or field service operations preferred.
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, and Wi-Fi networking.
- Hands-on experience with routers, ONTs/ONUs, switches, access points, and networking equipment.
- Basic knowledge of FTTH/fiber-optic networks is preferred.
- Ability to use basic tools such as cable testers, optical power meters, crimping tools, and other field equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel to customer locations.
- Valid driving license and two-wheeler preferred.
