Key Responsibilities1. GST Compliance

- Preparation and filing of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B within prescribed timelines.
- Preparation and review of GST workings and monthly tax liability.
- GSTR-2B reconciliation with purchase register/books of accounts.
- Identification and follow-up of missing invoices, mismatches and ITC differences.
- Assist in resolving GST-related queries, notices and reconciliations.
- Ensure proper maintenance of GST records and documentation.

2. TDS Compliance

- Preparation of TDS workings on monthly basis.
- Calculation and verification of TDS deductions.
- Timely payment/deposit of TDS.
- Preparation and filing of quarterly TDS returns.
- Reconciliation of TDS with books, challans and Form 26AS/AIS where required.
- Handling TDS-related queries and notices.

3. Payroll & Labour Compliance

- PF calculation and monthly filing/payment.
- Skilled Tax (PT) calculation and filing/payment.
- Assist with salary workings, deductions and payroll-related accounting.
- Ensure timely compliance with applicable statutory requirements.

4. Accounting & Reconciliation

- Day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping.
- Ledger scrutiny and reconciliation of customer, vendor and other accounts.




- Bank reconciliation and identification of outstanding/unmatched entries.
- Vendor and customer balance confirmations and reconciliation.
- Monitoring of receivables and payables.
- Ensuring proper accounting of purchases, sales, expenses, receipts and payments.

5. MIS & Reporting

- Preparation of monthly MIS reports for management.
- Sales, purchase, receivables and payable reports.
- Customer/vendor-wise analysis and ageing reports.
- Preparation of expense and profitability-related reports.
- Provide accurate financial data and analysis to management as required.

6. Other Responsibilities

- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants and other external stakeholders.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for statutory compliance.
- Assist in preparation of data for income tax, GST and statutory audits.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all accounting and compliance activities.
- Perform other finance and accounting-related tasks assigned by management.
