Maahu is India's first trusted, verified community wardrobe — a peer-to-peer platform where women lend and rent high-value occasion wear (lehengas, sarees, designer pieces) safely, within a women-only verified circle. We're building our founding lender base in Mumbai ahead of launch.

About the role

We're hiring a Field Sales & Marketing Intern to help onboard our first individual lenders in Mumbai — following up with leads, walking them through verification, and helping them list their first pieces — plus support light marketing and community work. This is a 3-month internship with strong potential to convert into a full time role for the right candidate as we scale past launch.

What you'll do

- Follow up same-day on new leads from our Instagram/Meta ad campaigns

-- Track the onboarding funnel: Lead → Contacted → Verified → First Listing Live

- Ask every onboarded lender for referrals from their own trusted circle





- Support outreach to Mumbai boutiques and rental stores (WhatsApp-based partner onboarding)

- Research online communities (Facebook groups, Instagram accounts) where our audience gathers, and help build a genuine presence there

- Help refine ad copy and give feedback on creative as needed

What we're looking for

- Comfortable meeting people in person and building trust quickly

- Based in Mumbai, able to travel locally for lender/boutique visits

- Fluent in Hindi and English (Marathi a plus)

- Organized — comfortable tracking leads in a simple spreadsheet

- Genuinely interested in growing into a broader marketing/growth role over time

- No specific degree required; sales/retail/customer-facing experience is a plus, not mandatory

- Location: Mumbai (on-ground, not remote)

- Duration: 3 months, strong potential for full-time conversion

- Stipend: ₹12,000/month
